Screenr is an online application that you can use to create screencasts for sharing on twitter but it’s not limited to just twitter. You can put your screencasts on youtube, facebook, and even your own website. A screencast is a video of the monitor of your device or a digital recording of computer screen output. Now here are step by step instruction on how to use Screenr with typed instructions picture and a video. If after the instructions and video made by me you still don’t understand how to use Screenr or your question is still unanswered then look at the youtube videos I will link at the end. Now first you need to have a twitter,facebook, yahoo, or google account to use Screenr because if you do not have one then you can’t publish or get your screen capture as a MP4 file. So if you do not already have a twitter account you will have to create one. For a tutorial on how to create a twitter account click on the link provided here __https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJSoEbNxYKE__. Now go back to Screenr and sign in. After you sign in start recording. Now screenr will scan your computer to check whether you have Java. If you don’t have it or have the older version Screenr will ask you to download Java. The message you will get will look like the image below.
Now once you have gotten your Java you will get a frame that looks like the picture below. Just move the frame to the picture you want and start recording.
Now that you have started Recording Here’s a few different buttons you can use on screenr. Be aware that screenr videos only have a maximum recording time of 5 minutes. By now you have finished your screencast and have published your screencast this will be how it will look. Now you have successfully made your first screencast with Screenr!
